I am currently partnered with a Federal Government Agency in Geelong CBD who is seeking an APS5 Project Officer for a full time 12 month temporary assignment with the potential to extend.
Your new role
You will work standard full time business hours with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The APS5 Project Officer reports into the APS6 Senior Project Officer and sits within the Policy, Advice and Research Division in the Strategy and Improvement Group.
As the APS5 Project Officer, you will be:
Coordinating, and maintaining accurate records of, expenditure on co-design and engagement activities Contributing to financial transactions, reporting, procurement and contract management as required Collaborating with team members to achieve project and business outcomes. Assisting the team with monitoring and reviewing project activities against plans and schedules. Assisting with the coordination internal and external consultation, engagement and meetings involving key disability stakeholders, including Council and Reference Group members, and staff. Contributing to the development and maintenance of process and procedures. Provide logistical support to Council, Reference Group Members and staff including travel, accommodation and venue hire, as required
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as the APS5 Project Officer, you will have:
IT proficiency including MS Office Experience generating and processing payments/invoices Ideally you will have worked within a Government environment, disability or community services organisation Experience within the Policy and/or Project space Exceptional communication, both written and verbal Experience engaging and liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Be an Australian Citizen Be willing to undergo a National Criminal History Check Be willing to undergo further compliance and clearance checks as required
