Your new role awaits: As a Coates Major Account Manager, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to generate a pipeline of business opportunities that will drive revenue growth. Understanding your key stakeholder’s needs and the market in which they operate is crucial to successfully delivering mutually beneficial outcomes and maintaining valuable relationships.  This role will be responsible for a portfolio of mid-tier clients across , and can be based in Melbourne or from Victorian regional locations.                  
                        
  • Identify and implement strategic initiatives for new sales growth opportunities
  •                     
  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with new and existing stakeholders 
  •                     
  • Continuously research target markets and advise accordingly of risk and opportunity
  •                     
  • Work with internal business teams to develop and deliver strategic plans 
  •                     
  • Persistently pursue all business and sales leads and opportunities  
  •                   
About you: To be successful in this role, you will have:                  
                        
  • Experience in a similar senior Major Account Management position
  •                     
  • Ideally have experience with selling services into large industrial, manufacturing, government or related industries
  •                     
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills 
  •                     
  • Commercial negotiation skills, with evidence of having applied critical thinking  
  •                     
  • Persuasive influencing and negotiation skills and strategic planning 
  •
