Your new role
This Federal Government Department is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled individual to perform tasks inclusive of, but not limited the following;

Preparation and reconciliation of monthly bank reconciliation. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and carry out investigation and corrective action arising from reconciliation discrepancies. Participate in the month end close ensuring all adjustments correctly reflect the Australian Accounting Standards and Finance Ministers Orders. Preparation of the analytical review of monthly results. Preparation of monthly actual reporting, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and analysis of variances. Entry of results into CBMS. Preparation of the financial statements and supporting documents. Any other adhoc tasks as requested.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate the above listed skills, be able to work in a team environment, have experience working within a Federal Department / Agency, as would experience using TechOne or SAP with a current security clearance.
