The Role Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Corporate Accountant will be responsible for the accounting and financial activities of the organization, including financial and management accounting functions for multiple entities within the group. With a focus on accountability, process improvement, and technical excellence, this role encompasses financial and statutory reporting, internal reporting to stakeholders and the executive team, budgeting and forecasting, compliance monitoring, and process development.The role will include, but not confined to the following: Overseeing all aspects of day-to-day transactional teams (AP, AR, payroll) Support of the Assistant Accountant and Junior Financial Accountant Month and year end close - complete ownership of consolidated P&L and balance sheet Group Board Pack commentary and analysis Budgeting and quarterly reforecasting and variance analysis Preparation of statutory lodgements, year-end lodgements and tax accountant handover Business Intelligence reporting through PowerBI Group Treasury functions including cash flow forecastsStrong focus on good corporate governance through process documentation, implementation and review of financial controls Internal Audits on revenue maximisation and cost management strategies. Skills&Experience Qualified CA or CPA with strong experience within a financial and/or management accounting role in the commercial sector First mover or background in public practice also
