About the Position Our client based in Perth's CBD is currently seeking a Management Accountant.
Your new company
Our client requires a Management Accountant to join their government department for a temporary period of 6 months. The position is looking for someone who can start within the next 2 to 3 weeks. This is a full-time hour working week and offers longer term opportunities for the right candidate.

Your new role
As a Management Accountant your responsibilities will include:
Budget management including producing budget submissions Providing strategic advice to the executive on budget planning Performing financial analysis including financial modelling and cashflow analysis Undertake variance analysis, pricing, and activity- based costing
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:
Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills Strong experience within preparing and compiling budget submissions including estimates and explanatory statements Experience within financial analysis and budgeting for a medium to large sized organisation Highly demonstrated leadership and organizational skills TechnologyOne system experience is desirable Professional memberships are desirable
