About the Position The Position:Resource Services Group X are currently seeking a Permanent full-time Accountant to contribute to the provision of complete, accurate and timely financial information for the company.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, key duties will include;The duties will include but not be limited to:Daily cash flow reportingManage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions and highlighting issues to the CFO.Manage internal control processes for AR and AP approvals per delegated financial authorities.Preparation of monthly claims and invoices to customers. Liaise with project delivery teams to ensure complete and accurate claims and maximized revenue.Provide financial analysis of projects and variances where requested by the business and provide advise as to initiatives or options to improve performance.Assisting with business budgeting and forecasting.Ensuring Accounting standards and policies are adhered to.Liaison with external Auditors, Banks, Suppliers and Tax Specialists.Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives.Preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cashflow statements including analysis of individual profit centers and projects as required.Managing the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking and inter-company reconciliations.Completion of the monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets and depreciation schedules.Preparation of GST, FBT, Payroll and Corporate Income Tax ReturnsAssisting in the preparation of year and statutory accounts. no -- Principals only.
